'Cable Cubed Hat' Teen-Adult sizes

US$8.00

I really love knitting cabled hats. It’s all of the plush texture of a sweater with a smaller time (and yarn!) commitment. For this hat, I combined three cable patterns and a brim that can be worn flat or folded to create an infinitely wearable hat for everyone in the family. My favorite part of this hat is the reversible brim. The ribbing is knit with cables on the outside and the inside so that it looks good no matter how you style it. The body of the hat is a bold diamond motif. Pattern includes both charts and written instructions.

The kid sized-cub sized version is titled Cable Cubed Cub.

Size: 18 (20.5, 23)”

Gauge: 31 sts x 30 rows in Brim Ribbing pattern = 4inches

Yarn

Gradient sample: 1 ball gradient, fingering weight plied, wool blend; 400 yds/100 g.

Blue sample knit with sportweight 100% merino; 365 yds/100 g.

Note: The samples were knit in a different weight. As long as you get gauge you can use either.

Needle: US 3/3.25mm DPNs or 1 long circular for magic loop method

Notions: Stitch markers, cable needle

This pattern is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Thank you
